The Charmat method
Prosecco Pirani is processed with the Charmat method. This method produces a wine with a fresh and mostly soft flavour, with an evanescent composition typical of Prosecco. The last phase of sparkling is completed directly in the bottles. The wine, therefore, once bottled, is ready to be savored.

Autoclave
A mixture of yeasts and sugar is added to the wine which is transferred to a steel autoclave at controlled temperature and pressure.

Second fermentation
The wines complete their fermentation in an autoclave for a period of between 1 and 6 months.

Filtering
The wines are passed through a high-pressure resistant filter to remove any sediment.

Dosage
Finally, a mixture of wine and sugar is added to the wine before being bottled.
